Grade 7&8 Ball Hockey Tournament 8:30 am Smithville JCS is hosting a ball hockey tournament. We have room for 10 teams so gather a few friends, 6-8 people, (boys and girls) and sign up! Each team will play a minimum of 3 games. Games start at 8:30 am. A pizza lunch and drink is provided for each team. Extra food will be available for a small fee. You can also sign up for the skill competition that will take place at lunch time. Cost is $60.00/team and $3.00/person for the skill competition.

Spring is in the air, and plans are being made for our annual URC Ladies Day. This year, our theme in the morning is "Pressing Towards the Goal" based on Philippians 3:12, which will be led by Rev. Greg
Blysma, pastor of Bethel URC in Woodstock. Workshops will also be offered. Rev. Bylsma will teach about "Prayer" and Karen Gaul, a Biblical counselor, will do a workshop on "Contentment”. It promises to be a wonderful day of learning and fellowship. We invite all women, young and old to join us on Saturday, April 17 at 9:30 am at the Rehoboth URC in Hamilton, Ontario. The cost is $10.00 for registration. There will be a book table, greeting cards for sale, as well as a CD of the morning session available. Please bring your own lunch.

Our topic this year is "Could you defend your faith and would you?" Ps. 11:3 "When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Our text for this evening will be Psalms 11-16. Parents and teachers of children with special needs have a challenging task when helping these children to grow and to learn. Rev. Dave and Sr. Annette DeBoer will share how the principles of Scripture have guided them in their own experi-ence as parents of a child with special needs and as teachers. The love and compassion that God teaches and shows us gives a solid foundation for cooperation between the Christian home and school for helping those who are given the spe-cial challenge of a disability.
GREAT HYMNS OF FAITH 7:30 pm Join us as we lift voice and instrument high in praise of our Awesome God - telling the story of His abiding faithfulness to us in verse and song. Brought to you by students of CCS, alumni/adult members of her community (60+ voices) and ac-companied by concert pianists and chamber orchestra. At Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church, Dynes Road, Burlington.
Cost - $10.00 adult and $5.00 student (16 years and younger).
