Fundraiser Soccer Tournament

Who: All those 16 and over
What: An outdoor 6 on 6 soccer tournament with indoor rules; each team must have at least 2 girls on the field at all times and will be guaranteed 3 games, 25 minutes in length.
Where: Cuddy soccer fields in Strathroy, ON Why: To raise money for Haiti, Cost is $20 per person
There is limited space so please register your team before April 24.
AMAZING RACE!!!

The big event of the year is coming soon...and the registration is NOW! The YPS of Providence Church is organizing an Amazing Race that will take you to places that you never knew about in your own backyard. Think you know your city well??? You will find out the extent of your knowledge on Saturday, May 1st if you take part in this amazing adventure! The event will begin and end at St. Catherine of Siena with the starting whistle blow at 1:30pm and all teams will be given clues that will take them around the city to perform tasks and learn new things. All teams must be back by 4:30 so the rankings and survival stories can begin. Each team will consist of 4-6 players and there is a price of $30 a vehicle to cover the costs. Final date to enter yourself or a vehicle will be April 18th...babysitting will be provided. So, sign up your-selves and your friends (you can choose whether or not to tell them that they are signed up) at prov.yps@gmail.com

Anchor band performance in concert. Together with the Hosanna choir at the Rehoboth United Reformed Church on Glancaster Road in Hamilton. Proceeds for the Anchor Home and Peace Haven Homes
Guido Membership Meeting

All members of the congregation are invited to the Annual Membership Meeting of the Hamilton-Providence Local of the Guido de Brés Canadian Reformed High School Association.
This year we will be able to listen to presentations from two of our teachers on courses being offered at the school. Mrs. Bonnie Bouwman will introduce the Food and Nutrition course and Mr. Tom Zeitsma will speak about The Enterprising Person…..Its content and relevance.
We will also be electing a new member to the local board, as George Helder is completing his term, and getting updates on our local situation.
Please plan on coming to the meeting at the Theological College.

Spring is springing and that means the Timothy Plant Sale is just around the corner!
Emporer's New Clothes

Timothy School children will, the Lord willing, be performing the musical, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. There will be two sessions, the first one at 1:30 PM and the other at 7:30 PM in the Guido Gym. The price is $5.00 per person ( All ages, no special rates) . Cheques are made out to "Timothy Christian School".
We respectfully request that infants and toddlers not be brought to the performances.
Tickets go on sale April 19, 2010 and will be available from the Timothy office.

Glanbrook church invites you to participate in our church-building fundraiser. Whether you want to go for a leisurely walk with family and friends, a challenging run or vigorous bike ride, there are different distances to choose from: 5km, 10km, 20km, or even 40km's. Come for the exercise, the fellowship and the food!! There will be a barbeque following the event. Check out the website for more in-formation and to download a sponsor sheet at: www.trinitycanrc.org

Spring has sprung, so has the time for our 3rd annual Dine and Dash. Its an evening of fun, good food and great fellowship with our brothers and sisters of Providence.
Family Volleyball

Family Volleyball is making its spectacular return! It will be hosted at Guido de Bres Christian High School, the price is only $60 per team. Teams must have a minimum of two girls on the court at a time, and everyone must be related! So gather together your siblings, cousins, parents, aunts and uncles and come out for an evening of fun!
